If you like Kale and you like Desi cooking and you aren't opposed to non-meat dishes then this recipe is for you! It takes like 2 minutes to make and once ur done you've got an amazing tantalizing dish that will leave you salivating for seconds.
What you will need:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tsp mustard seed
3 whole Red chillies (optional)
Salt
A whole lotta kale (like a bunch), chopped.
Method
1. In a wok heat oil.
2. Throw in onions and garlic ginger paste
3. Add cumin and mustard seeds.
4. Mix everything around for a couple of minutes.
5. Add the whole lotta kale and chillies.
6. Mix everything super well.
7. Add water, and sorta cover the the wok allowing a vent for steam to escape.
8. Turn off heat I nce all the water has been absorbed.
9. Enjoy
Serve with rice, naan, pita or even quinoa. Or if you are feel adventurous and wanting to hold back on carbs, eat it on it's own. This dish is best served freshly made and piping hot off the stove.
Notes:
1. This dish is mild. Like way too mild. Will be adding 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder next time.
2. Consider sprucing up this dish by adding shredded coconut into the mix... Maybe 2 tbsp?
